Winet Monthly Review: October 2021
As the days of October have now passed, fall has arrived. We were able to enjoy plenty of sunshine in October, and some of us even got to experience the start of fall during our vacations. The Winet team has continued to drive its daily business forward this month as well, and surprises you with news From the world of telecommunications.
In our October monthly recap, we’re sharing our latest developments and updates from Winet. This month, we’ve prepared many exciting behind-the-scenes topics for you in our posts. First, at the beginning of the month, we celebrated the successful completion of our colleague Marco Peter’s bachelor’s degree—we’re very proud of him. We also paid a visit to our client Golfers Paradise and conducted an interview between Marc Rohr (CEO of Golfers Paradise) and Daniel Maier (CEO of Winet). Marco Peter's Bachelor's Degree
Congratulations! ?? We congratulate Marco Peter on the successful completion of a bachelor's degree. The entire Winet team is very proud of Marco Peter's outstanding performance, and he will continue to be part of our team.
Marco began his apprenticeship at Winet in August 2008 and successfully completed it in 2012. Since then, he has continued his professional career at Winet. During this time, Marco began a part-time training program to become an ICT application developer, which he completed in 2016 with a Swiss Federal Certificate. After several years of professional experience, Marco decided to continue his education and began a part-time bachelor’s degree program at the FHNW in Windisch in September 2017. He has now completed his bachelor’s degree in September 2021 with Completed with flying colors and received his diploma during the graduation ceremony on October 1, with the title: Bachelor of Science (FHNW) in Computer Science—Specialization in Distributed Software Systems.
Of course, this isn’t the end of Marco’s journey—it’s just the beginning! We continue to count Marco as an important member of the Winet team and are glad that he can now continually put his expanded knowledge and exceptional skills to use with us. We wish Marco continued success and a promising career.
