Number Porting

Your current provider will verify that this information is correct. It is important that all information is filled out correctly; otherwise, the porting request will be rejected. The name of the person registered as the account holder for that number and the information (address and name) provided on the authorization form must match. Therefore, be sure to provide the exact information as it appears in your contract with your previous provider.

If you port your number(s) from your current provider before the end of your contract term, you may incur additional costs due to a breach of contract. Furthermore, switching your phone service does not exempt you from the obligation to pay any outstanding balances owed to your previous provider. Unfortunately, we cannot cover any costs incurred by your previous provider.

With this power of attorney, you may only cancel the services included in this contract with your current provider.

Please note that services covered by separate contracts will not be canceled with your current provider. You may lose any existing bundle discounts.

A number porting process takes at least 7 business days and is processed at 12:00 p.m. each day. This means that if we receive your authorization after 10:00 a.m., the porting date will be postponed by one business day. Unfortunately, it is not possible to process a porting request «immediately.» Please let us know your desired porting date. Porting is not possible on weekends or holidays.

As a VoIP telephone service provider, we are required to provide you with access to emergency services. With so-called nomadic or location-independent use, you can move your device(s) to a different location and use them with any Internet connection. If you use your connection in this way, we, as a VoIP provider, cannot determine the location of the connection. As a result, we cannot guarantee that emergency calls will be routed correctly. We can only ensure the most accurate possible routing of emergency calls and location identification if you provide us with the correct address of your connection location. Location identification cannot be guaranteed during nomadic use. If you are using your phone or an app in a nomadic manner and wish to dial an emergency number, please ensure that you do so via the cellular network associated with your mobile phone number (not via a VoIP app) or a traditional landline connection. By signing this authorization, you confirm that we have informed you of this restriction and that you have acknowledged it.

This authorization for number porting does not replace your registration and order for number porting as a (new) customer of Winet Voicetec Solutions AG. To do so, please complete the ordering process in our online store.
