- Headphone cable
- Ethernet cable
- Quick Start Guide (Snom 760) or Quick Installation Guide (D765)
Lineup
Attaching the base and the handset
When setting up the phone, you can choose an angle of 46° or 28°.
Note: Before attaching the foot to the housing, connect the long end of the handset cord to the one labeled «»Insert the plug into the »-marked jack on the back of the phone and place the handset cord into the recess in the lower right corner.

- Align the slots on the base with the mounting strips on the back of the phone. For a steeper viewing angle, slide the short legs onto the brackets; for a flatter viewing angle, slide the long legs onto the brackets.
2. Slide the foot up onto the mounting rails until it clicks into place.

- Then connect the short end of the handset cord to the handset.
- Place the phone on a flat, horizontal surface.
Turn the earpiece over
The phone is shipped with the handset hook in the position for tabletop use. If you plan to mount the phone on the wall, we recommend that you flip the hook over.
The opening on the bottom of the receiver fits perfectly over the tip of the pin—which then protrudes slightly beyond the edge of the recess—and holds the receiver securely in place even when it is in a vertical position.

- Push the handset pin upward out of the slot (Fig. 1)
- Rotate it 180°.
- Slide it back into the slot (Fig. 2). The tip of the pin now protrudes about one millimeter beyond the edge (Fig. 3). There is a rectangular recess on the underside of the receiver speaker that hooks onto the receiver pin.
You can find the instructions for mounting on the wall in the «Appendix 4 – Wall Mounting» on page 94 .
Connecting the Phone

- Connect the Ethernet cable to the RJ45 jack labeled «NET.” Connect the other end of the cable to your network to enable data transfer and to power the phone if PoE is available.
